<image:title>Nut, Thread and Stud Detection - Standard SNP and Toughened SNS Nut Sensors</image:title>
<image:caption>The Norgren range of Nut and Stud sensors have been developed to provide 100% quality control in metal pressing plants by ensuring the presence and quality of threads in nuts and studs so that faulty parts are eliminated from the line before entering production. This saves time and reduces waste. Reduces waste and error Saves time and costs Eliminates the need for manual inspection Can withstand heavy side loading Highly sensitive detection The SNP and SNS Series of nut sensors function like a radial inductive proximity switch to sense the presence of a welded nut, in the correct location even through a blind or tapped hole in a sheet metal part. We are industry leaders in the field with our sensors having the widest range for more precise and accurate detection, the sensors are so sensitive that they can also be calibrated to sense the thread presence and quality. Our Nut Sensors are designed and proven to withstand harsh welding environments. The probe is made in stainless steel and the sensing circuitry are purpose-built to be located as close as possible to the actual welding operation so faulty parts can be detected early in the assembly process. They are also welding splatter proof. The SNS toughened version of our nut and thread sensors are built for heavy duty and heavy side loading applications, they can withstand collisions and can even be used as gauging or locating pins. Our range covers M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12 nut sizes and it is paired with a remote monitor providing PNP or NPN output signals. To prevent damage from side loading the sensors can be mounted with a Spring Mount, this allows the probe to retract if forced against a part with no hole and the tip can offset up to a 5 degree angle to locate misaligned holes.</image:caption>

<image:caption>The Versa round tooling system consists of high strength tubular steel links coupled with aluminum ball-to-ball clamps which together provide low weight fingers with maximum flexibility rated for 250 ft lb (static) and 100 ft lb (dynamic) loads. All transfer fingers can be designed from 15 to 20 basic components. They are quickly assembled and provide precise final adjustments, resulting in reduced startup time and offer infinite adjustability with a 90 degree angular offset. If damage occurs in the press, fingers can be quickly repaired by replacing the damaged component without the need of cutting, bending or welding. Modular components can be reused when a job reaches the end of its production life cycle. Obsolete transfer fingers are disassembled and the components reused on new tooling designs.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Resolvers - 1986 Series Resolver Assembly</image:title>
<image:caption>The Gemco 1986 Series resolvers are the preferred choice for rugged and accurate rotary positioning across various industrial applications. These brushless resolvers operate on the same principle as a rotary transformer to couple power in the rotor. The internal brushless resolver has three separate windings: a reference winding, a SIN winding and a COS winding. The reference winding is excited by an AC voltage. The SIN and COS winding are set 90° apart and provide two different output voltages whose ratio represent absolute position of the shaft. One of the key advantages of resolver transducers over other rotary position technologies is their superior performance in harsh environments also they are always absolute, so if power is lost and restored, the exact position data will be communicated. In long cable runs a resolver signal can typically go much further than other technologies. Resolvers have long been the standard rotary position method in packaging, primary metals manufacturing, stamping, automotive, tire and rubber, paper mills and mining. 11 Different Package (Mounting) styles Optional Precision Zero-Backlash Gear Reducers 6 Different Resolver selections to meet needs 5 Optional – All Stainless Steel construction</image:caption>
